Robert De Niro and Al Pacino come together as a pair of veteran New York City police detectives in Righteous Kill. They are cast as Davis Fisk and Thomas Cowan respectively. It’s been three decades since they have last been partners. It had been an extremely high pressure job in the NYPD but these guys are not yet over. Prior to hanging up their boots, they are asked to solve the mysterious murder of an infamous pimp. Now, this particular person had been associated with a lot of cases that had been dealt by the duo.

This is an amazingly gripping psychological thriller. It is a strange killing spree where the victim’s bodies happen to bear a four-line poem. The purpose of the murder is justified in those four lyrical lines. As the number of murders keeps on rising, the detectives notice an important fact. All of these victims have a certain aspect common in them; they are all criminals who happened to escape through the cracks of the judicial system.
