You can call Street Kings a police thriller. Keanu Reeves plays Tom Ludlow, a respected and veteran LAPD Vice Detective. He embarks on a journey to discover the true killers of his former partner, Detective Terrance Washington, played by Terry Crews. Ludlow’s supervisor, Captain Wander, is played by Forest Whitaker. The onus is upon the captain to keep Ludlow from straying from the confines of the law. He also has to ensure his juniors do not fall into the clutches of the Internal Affairs Captain Biggs, played by Hugh Laurie. Chris Evans plays a young and suave Robbery Homicide Detective who offers his assistance to Ludlow.

The search goes on through the diverse communities of Los Angeles. The determined duo eventually meets success when they are on the verge of bringing Washington’s murderers to justice.
