All the preceding Mummy films had been high box-office grossers. And this film has its action paced out in the heart of Asia. The Han emperor, played by Jet Li, has under gone resurrection. You have Brendan Fraser as the explorer Rick O’Connell. Action spans taking the ancient route from China to the lofty Himalayas. In this sequel, Rick is accompanied by his son Alex and wife Evelyn, along with his brother-in-law, Jonathan. The mummies have awoken from a 2000 year-old curse and they seem hell-bent to transform the world into a wretched doom. There is a sorceress played by Michelle Yeoh who further complicates the state of affairs.

Then, you have the Dragon Emperor of China along with his vast army of 10,000 warriors who have been entombed into a silent clay form. Alex happens to break this eternal slumber only to fall back on the intelligence and wit of his parents to control these supernatural powers.
