Cameron Diaz and Aston Kutcher are cast as strangers – Joy and Jack. Joy is a type of lady who plans each move of her life very carefully. She lives with her boyfriend Mason, played by Jason Sudeikis. But when she is dumped, she arrives in Vegas accompanied by her friend, Tipper, played by Lake Bell. Jack is an unemployed guy whom she finds as her husband when she wakes up one morning. They consider divorce as the only way out but there is a twist in plot when Jack wins a $3million jackpot from using Joy’s quarter. Now, each one desires the other to file divorce as neither of them wants to let go of the cash.

Finally, love grows to smooth things over. Rob Corddry plays the character of Jack’s best buddy, Hater. Queen Latifah is the marriage councilor. The careless attitude of Jack and the serious attitude of Joy are brilliantly portrayed in the respective scenes.
