Bolt, voiced by John Travolta, is a television dog actor who believes he really is his superhero character. Not a single day of Bolt’s life passes without some significant event happening to him. Adventure, intrigue and danger happen to be part of his regular life. This continues until the cameras stop rolling. A star performer of a highly popular television show happens to get lost as he is inadvertently shipped to the New York City from his Hollywood sound stage.
From here on commences one of his biggest adventures – real life which turns out to be its own adventure. He is desperate to go back to his owner, Penny, voiced by Miley Cyrus. He happens to encounter two of the weirdest companions in the form of a cynical and neglected house-cat by the name of Mittens voiced by Susie Essman, and a hamster called Rhino, voiced by Mark Walton, who is obsessed with the television.
