Lynn Daley has turned in his nightstick to become an inventor. He’s now a successful owner of Daley Devices as seen on infomercials. Lynn Daley seems to have everything but inspiration. Drawn back to the Museum of Natural History, he finds all his old “friends” have been deemed obsolete and sent to the Smithsonian for storage. Just when he’s at a loss, Jedediah (Owen Wilson), the tiny cowboy, sends Daley a distress call from Washington. Daley’s friends have awakened a 3,000 year-old, cranky, Egyptian pharaoh, Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria). Now he has new henchmen who are three of history’s worst: Ivan the Terrible (Christopher Guest), Napoleon Bonaparte (Alain Chabat) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Unless Daley and his friends can stop him, Kahmunrah will raise the Army of the Underworld. In over his head, Daley finds new friends and allies in Abraham Lincoln and Amelia Earhard (Amy Adams) as the world’s greatest museum comes to life in the greatest adventure in history.
