Watch The Proposal Online Stream – The Proposal is the Touchstone Pictures film directed by Anne Fletcher and written by Pete Chiarelli. This romantic comedy bears the tagline, ‘Here comes the bribe….’ The Proposal stars Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Craig T. Nelson, and Mary Steenburgen. The film bears a PG-13 rating due to the presence of explicit sexual content. It hits theaters on June 19, 2009.
Sandra bullock plays Margaret Tate, a New York City book editor. Immigration have threatened to deport her back to Canada now her visa’s expired. Now, in order to escape from their clutches, she proclaims she is the fiancée of Andrew (Ryan Reynolds), her assistant. He is used to being tormented by Margaret on a regular basis. He is utterly surprised at the offer but is also smart enough to put conditions on his cooperation.
The couple plans out a spur of the moment wedding ceremony while the immigration officers are hot on their trails. They head towards Alaska to meet Andrew’s unusual family (Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Betty White). Their lifestyle makes things extremely messy for Margaret, a girl who is used to calling all the shots in her life. She finds it quite difficult to deal with this group and at the same time try to bring her life back into the normal track.
