The movie brings shows the viewer the events that occur in the life of upper-class, physicist Boris Yellnikoff, played by Larry David. All of a sudden, he decides he should get the taste of a Bohemian sort of a life. It is during this change of heart Boris meets a twenty-one-year-old, cute lady named Melodie (Evan Rachel Wood), and ends up falling for her. It is a rather comic situation when Boris has to deal with her weird family (Patricia Clarkson and Ed Begley, Jr.) when they arrive from Mississippi. The most appealing part of the film happens to be its inherent wit and humor. It is a classic Woody Allen movie.
