Watch Public Enemies Online Stream – Public Enemies is expected to be released on the 1st of July, 2009. The film is directed by Michael Mann and is an adaptation of Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the birth of the FBI, 1933-34 authored by Bryan Burrough. It belongs to the genre crime drama and is starred by Johnny Depp alongside Christian Bale. It traces the history behind the birth of FBI.
The period depicts the age of Great Depression where the focus of the story lies on the thrilling attempt of the FBI agent to prevent a string of criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd. Johnny Depp plays the role of Dillinger and Marion Cotillard plays his girlfriend Billie Frechette. The role of the FBI agent Purvis is played by Christian Bale.
Purvis basically tries to rope in Dillinger in order to curtail the infamous crime spree initiated by him during the 1930s. The principle locations where the shooting of this film has been done are Columbus, Wisconsin, Chicago, Illinois apart from the legendary Little Bohemia Lodge in the Manitowish waters. This is the very site where the epic gun fight took place between FBI and Dillinger in 1934. Some actions were also canned in Crown Point, Indiana, the place of imprisonment of Dillinger from where he escaped later.
