Monica, Ross’s younger sister, was a chef and the group “hostess”. Joey was Chandler’s roommate, struggling actor, and ladies man. Phoebe started out as Monica’s roommate, but is also the new-age, hippy chick of the group. This unusual group became a family as they lived, loved, and grew through their ten years together on screen. They all learned to deal with adulthood together with their varied lifestyles and backgrounds.
