In this two-part mini-series, there’s a meteor, 114 Kassandra, on a collision with Earth. Dr. Lehman, while working in his lab, discovers the presence of a meteor, which is three times the size of Mount Everest. He and his assistant, Imogene O’Neill, race to convince the authorities of the danger. However, their solution to fire a nuclear strike at 114 Kassandra fails by breaking up the meteor into a shower creating the potential for more damage. Now, as panic ensues, there’s more going on, Detective Jack Crowe is on a manhunt for an ex-cop psychopatic killer out for revenge against his father, Sheriff Crowe. Will anyone get out of this alive? Will the meteor be destroyed before it kills everyone on the planet? Will the killer be brought to justice? The first part has already aired, but the gripping conclusion airs on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Don’t miss the apocalyptic action.
