Watch The Storm Online Stream – The Storm is another NBC two-part mini-series airing Sunday, July 26, 2009 and Sunday August 2, 2009. This is part of NBC’s “Survival Sunday” summer events. A RHI Entertainment production, this natural disaster thriller stars Treat William, David James Elliot, Teri Polo, James Van Der Beek, and Luke Perry.
Robert Terrell is a famous billionaire who owns the Atmospheric Research Institute which experiments with the weather. After many years of experimentation, the institute has finally mastered the art of creating weather artificially. Further tests are being conducted to perfect the technology before offering it for sale. Then one experiment goes horribly wrong. During one of the tests, a huge blast of energy is sent up to the ionosphere and this creates an unexpected result. Dr. Jonathan Kirk is the one to see the dangers arising. He contacts newswoman, Dani Wilson, to expose the experiment, but its too late. Kirk is stonewalled by the military that sees the weather control device as a weapon. Will Kirk be able to convince the world of the danger in time? Can the storm be stopped? Or will this be the end of the world? Don’t miss a minute of the nail-biting suspense.
