Watch Taking Woodstock Full Stream Online – Ang Lee is the director of this film and the duo who has written the screenplay is James Schamus and Elliot Tiber. This is a musical comedy that comes along with a tagline, “A generation began in his backyard”. The plot of the film is a real life account of the events that took place in the life of Elliot Tiber. Tiber had been an interior designer who did not live a very significant life in the Greenwich Village of New York.
His parents used to run a Catskills motel titled El Monaco and they were in a pretty distressed state due to consistent poverty. His family gradually stood at the verge of foreclosure and Elliot’s father thought that the only option for them to avoid this predicament would be to burn down their property. But then again, he had not been able to clear his insurance payments. Just at that point of time, there was a hippie musical festival being organized in the adjacent village. Eliot thought that he ought to use this opportunity and as a last resort decided to visit the producers of the show.
It was a life-altering experience for him as from then on, America happened to get acquainted with a new genre of music.
