The Goode Family is a family obsessed with doing everything “right. They are socially, politically, and environmentally “correct”. Gerald and Helen Goode struggle constantly with being responsible liberals while raising teenagers. Of course, things never go quite right for the Goodes. They forget the recycled shopping bags when they go to the natural foods store. Their adopted son, Ubuntu, is white South African baby, when they intended to be racially tolerant in their neighborhood. Even their vegan dog has some serious issues – as do the rest of the neighborhood’s pets. Can the Goode’s actually manage to be completely “correct” or will their very rational daughter, Bliss, continue to poke holes in their beliefs? This very funny and smart animated series sheds light on many current events and policies.
