Accidentally on Purpose introduces us to Billie (Jenna Elfman), a 30-something successful movie critic who, after a humiliating break up her boss, has a fling with a much younger guy, Zack. Things seem fine at first. Even her boss, James (Grant Show), seems to want her back. Then she discovers the twist – after her one-night-stand with Zack, Billie’s now pregnant. How can things get worse? Zack wants to take responsibility for his child. So they’re going to live together – platonically. As roommates. Can that happen? Now Billie has to deal with a new baby, a new man – who is still partially a boy, her friends’ very different advice on men and children, and Zack’s freeloading friends who’ve showed up in her house. What does that mean for Billie? Does she have a boyfriend? A frat house? Will she end up taking her boss back? One thing is for sure, it’ll be funny, and you won’t want to miss a second of the comedy.
