Brief Interviews with Hideous Men is a new movie that has been directed by John Krasinski. The screenplay has been written by the director himself. The original story from which the film script has been adapted has been written by David Foster Wallace. This is the movie about Sara Quinn, a young and budding student. She is enrolled in the prestigious East Coast University as a doctoral candidate in anthropology. But in a sudden turn of events, her boyfriend leaves her. Sara is not event informed by her boyfriend why he is leaving her. This leaves Sara confused and heart broken. She thinks of a way to counter this heartache and also to go forward in her career.
Sara decides to interview men from various backgrounds in order to know the mentality of men in general. She intends to understand the reason behind the leaving of her boyfriend. In the process she gets to know a lot about the men and also about herself. She is more than she ever thought. We will have to wait and she how she is able to handle the knowledge that she had gathered. The main actors taking part in the movie are Julianne Nicholson, Ben Shenkman, Timothy Hutton, Corey Stoll, Chris Messina, Max Minghella, Lou Taylor Pucci, etc.
