Astro Boy is all set to be released in the movie theatres all over the country on the 23rd of October this year. The movie has been directed by David Bowers and the screenplay of the movie has been written by Timothy Harris. The original comic series has been written by Osamu Tezuka. The film is placed in the futuristic location of the Metro City. The central character of the movie is the Astro Boy, which is nothing more than a very powerful robot this robot has been created by a scientist who has lost his son. The robot looks like the dead son of the scientist. In this movie we will be witness to the various adventures that the little robot goes through, in order to try and provide some relief to its creator. Finally, the robot comes back to save the Metro City from destruction. The Astro Boy also gets reconciled with his creator, who had rejected him once. The actors who have given their voice to the various characters of the movie are Kristen Bell, Nicolas Cage, Samuel L Jackson, Charlize Theron, Bill Nighy, Freedie Highmore, etc.
