Paranormal Activity has been released in the United States on October 16, 2009. The movie has been doing well and has been directed by Oren Peli. He is also the screenplay writer of the movie. The movie belongs to the category of horror, mystery and thriller. The movie also has a tagline which says “Don’t See It Alone”.
The central characters portrayed in this movie are that of Katie and Micah. They are a newly wed young couple, who have bought themselves a small house in a peaceful locality. They are expecting a good stay in their new house. But things do not go well from the very first night. They experience odd happenings around them, which no logic or reason can define. They begin to believe that their house is haunted. They are not sure whether the thing that is staying in their house is good or bad. But they are sure that the activities of the thing increases at night, when they sleep. The couple is also not sure how they will be able to get rid of the problem. The role of Katie has been played by Katie Featherston and that of Micah, by Micah Sloat.
