This is a film that presents how life in Connecticut goes all wrong as the family of Pippa Lee tries her best to adjust to this shift in base. She has been married to an accomplished publisher who is elder to her by no less than three decades. None the less, she has always been an extremely dutiful wife and a mother of two children who are now busy with their personal lives.

All the people that she has been associated with during the course of her life apprehend her to be a caring and trusted friend whom they can rely with complete confidence. But, it is a rather pleasant world that crumbles down when she shifts base to Connecticut following the wishes of her husband. The status of marriage as presented by her to all her acquaintances comes shattering down under the reality of the situation. Will Pippa be able to survive the ultimate test of her married life?

This film due for release on November 27, 2009 is directed by Rebecca Miller and the screenplay is written by the director herself who also happens to be the author of the book that she had written by the same name.
