This is a film directed by Ron Clements and is an adaptation from The Frog Princess written by E. D. Baler. This is an animation film and presented in the style of a Broadway musical. This makes the musical score of the film very important. In face there is a lot of anticipation surrounding the manner in which Randy Newman worked on it. The film is expected to hit the theaters on December 11, 2009 and is a production from the house of the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
The plot surrounds the plight of a prince who has been turned into a frog by the spell of an evil voodoo magician. It is Dr. Fasciler, the magician who is responsible for transforming prince Naveen into a frog. According to the spell, he can regain his original form only when he is kissed by a princess. He mistakes an ordinary girl as princess Tiana and asks her to kiss him back to human. Eventually she is convinced but, as soon as she does it, she is also transformed into a frog. Now, both these characters fall under the trap and they have to seek help from a good voodoo priestess called Mama Odie.
