They’re back! And with a sequel..or should I say “Squeak-uel”! Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel is scheduled for release just days before Christmas. Your three favorite chipmunks are brining you a continuation to last year’s entertaining musical film. While Alvin, Simon & Theodore are performing for their benefit concert in Paris, Dave is rushed to the hospital after suffering a really bad knee injury. As Dave rests and recuperates his cousin Toby is left in charge of the Chipmunks until he returns. Dave had made prior arrangements before the accident for the boys to attend school.
It should be interesting to watch three chipmunks attend school with all human students. Recording the voice of Dave is Jason Lee. Then there’s Justin Long, Matt Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney playing the voices of Alvin, Simon & Theodore. When the Chipmunks depart for school Ian is in need of another big hit group. He stumbles upon the Chipettes and hopes to get revenge on the Chipmunks by making the new group into stars. Don’t miss this fun, lively film directed by Betty Thomas. It will be coming out on December 23rd 2009.
