The new American drama To Save A Life is a faith-based film directed by Brian Baugh, and written and produced by Jim Britts. Jake Taylor and Roger Dawson attend the same high school. Although they’re both students at the same school, they lead completely opposite reputations. The boys grew up together and were best friends as children but over the years they seemed to grow apart. Jake is star of the basketball team, dating the prettiest girl and is probably the most popular guy at school! Roger, on the other hand, has no friends hence no hope. Once Jake’s popularity grew in high school, he shunned his old bud Roger.
Something earth shaking happens that really has an effect on Jake. He now faces the challenge of finding out what he wants his life to be about and if the popularity is really worth it. The film is a partnership between three faith-based companies: New Song Pictures, Outreach Films & Samuel Goldwyn Films. To Save A Life is being released theatrically on January 22nd 2010.
