The Wolfman is a remake of the classic 1941 horror film. It stars Benicio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving and Geraldine Chaplin and will be released February 12, 2010. The Wolfman was directed by Joe Johnston. After the disappearance of his brother, Lawrence Talbot reunites with his father. Lawrence’s childhood quickly ended the night his mother died, and he spent year and years trying to forget it and somehow recover. However, when Gwen Conliffe, his brother’s fiancee, finds him to help her track down her missing love, he has to return home and join the search.
Something is killing the villagers and Talbot tries to figure out the mystery. He learns of an ancient curse which turns the afflicted into werewolves during a full moon. He now seeks to destroy the vicious creature in the woods responsible for the Blackmoor killings and protect the woman he loves. The Wolfman is set in the 1880s.
