Based on the best selling first book in the illustrated novel series Diary of a Wimpy Kid is by Jeff Kinney. The live-action animated film stars Zachary Gordon, Steven Kahn, Chloe Moretz, Rachael Harris, Devon Bostick & Conner and Owen Fielding. It is scheduled for release Friday, Mar. 19th. The film adaptation chronicles the adventures of two junior high students, also best friends, over the course of an academic year. Greg describes the entire story of his and Rowley’s schoolyear in his journal and hand-drawn cartoons.
Greg and Rowley must survive various obstacles throughout middle school as well as their weird neighborhood. You will find the documentations of Greg Heffley quite amusing from wedgies and cafeteria bullies to swirlies, morons and cooties. It’s a pretty funny movie and great for kids.
