Mr. Personality Michale Haller, also known as “Mick”, is a smooth talking criminal defense attorney who operates from the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. The charismatic lawyer, played by Matt McConaughey, has spent most of his career defending petty criminals until he lands the case of a lifetime. Mick unexpectedly gets the opportunity to defend a rich Beverly Hills playboy who has been accused of attempted murder. What seems to be a straightforward case at first ends up being a crisis of Mick’s conscience. There is a big money pay-off that develops between two masters of manipulation.
